Expanding his second-level residence, an emerging filmmaker seeks to create an ample house-wide terrace which serves to integrate living, dining room, kitchen and outdoor activities – benefiting from the ever-present tropical (East) breezes and morning luminosity.  Added to the street side of the original house - with ample operable louvers, high ceiling and clerestory light - this new ‘great room’ becomes the focal point of the re-configured dwelling.
