A deteriorated two (2) level house (c.1955) was renovated and converted into six (6) short-term rentals (AirBnB).  All units have separate sleeping and living spaces.  The essential design goal was to permit natural light to penetrate, transforming the dark, dire original structure, the second floor units taking advantage of the views to the ocean (North).  The rear yard apartment (former garage and service quarters) was reconfigured with a unique appeal – adding an annex built as a serene and private ‘box’ - with exposed concrete surfaces and clerestory light.
