This reconfiguration project entails the complete revamping of a university library within a modernist architectural icon (Toro-Ferrer, 1970) – converting the main spaces into an ample ‘learning commons’. 
 
Printed books are deemphasized and keeping with contemporary library design thinking, the central area was converted into a student/visitor communal area - conducive for study and information search.
