Comprehensive rehabilitation of historic building housing the Teacher’s Union Headquarters, designed by Joseph O’Kelly (1935). Restoration of historic ornaments and roof and additional intervention for contemporary needs to accommodate an open plan commercial space and the basement storage, offices, meeting room and Grand Aula Conference Hall of the Academia Puertorriqueña de Jurisprudencia y Legislación. Modern amenities include HVAC system, elevator, restrooms, and structural rework of the existing structure.
